Cardiac SonographerAs a Cardiac Sonographer you will complete all functions necessary to perform quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and in some location vascular studies.Essential Functions of the Role:Supports patient care by performing echocardiogram procedures, educating the patient on the process and answering any questions they may haveDemonstrates proficiency with the use of ultrasound equipment and associated procedures.Routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians and other health practitioners running efficiently.Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physicianAssures accuracy data for clinical reports, demographics and billing information for physician reportsShows a high degree of judgment and skill in use of sonographic equipment.Ensures that equipment is constantly functional and maintained for immediate use.Maintains records and reports on equipment and procedures performedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or G.E.DARDMS or RVT CertificationGraduate of an accredited ultrasound programA valid driver's licenseBLS or ACLS (Will need to obtain within 30 days of hire)Desired Qualifications:2 years of experience in the Cardiology fieldOne (1) year of experience as an ultrasound technologist.Work EnvironmentThis position is a clinical position reporting to our Enid Location. This position will also cover our rural areas and support offices by traveling as needed.Physical RequirementsThis position requires a full range of body motion.
