This role ensures weld accuracy, consistency, and efficiency while maintaining safety and production standards in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate robotic welding equipment to produce metal components according to blueprints and weld specificationsLoad and unload parts into robotic welding cells safely and efficientlyMonitor welding processes to ensure proper weld quality, penetration, and alignmentPerform routine setup, adjustments, and parameter checks on robotic welding systemsInspect finished welds using measuring tools and visual inspection techniquesIdentify and troubleshoot basic robotic welding issues or defectsPerform minor maintenance such as cleaning weld cells, changing consumables, and checking fixturesRead and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructionsMaintain accurate production and quality recordsFollow all safety procedures, including PPE and welding safety protocolsCollaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issuesQualificationsPrevious experience in welding or robotic welding environment preferredAbility to read blueprints and welding symbolsFamiliarity with industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, etc. a plus)Strong attention to detail and quality control skillsMechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting abilityExperience using measuring tools and inspection techniquesAbility to lift materials and stand for extended periodsPhysical RequirementsWelding certification (MIG/TIG/Stick) preferred but not always requiredRobotic welding setup or programming experience is a strong plusExperience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
