TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required, with at least 1 year of experience in specialty License: RN license required; pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of RN experience - Experience in specialty - BLS and ACLS certifications Description: The Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit has a diverse adult patient population. Each bed is equipped for monitoring patients with varying degrees of illness. Patients may include post-operative transplant individuals and those requiring cardiac monitoring. The position requires 36 to 48 hours per week, based on RN preference. Every other weekend is required. RNs may float within scope to meet facility needs. Manager is open to accommodating schedule requests if they meet unit needs. Patient ratios are typically 1:5. Experience with adult patients with conditions such as COPD, cardiac issues, and diabetes is preferred. Familiarity with central line draws, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, and medication drips is beneficial. Charting is done through Cerner. Required modules must be completed prior to the start date. Two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years are needed. All required information must be submitted timely for processing. Candidates must reside a minimum of 100 miles from the facility. Disqualifying factors include refusal of required vaccinations without proper documentation. Travel experience is welcomed.
