Ascension Search Partners has been retained by a global, market-leading organization to identify a Senior Director of Human Resources – Americas. This newly created executive leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and execute the regional people strategy for a growing business with operations across multiple countries. This position will partner closely with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and HR operational excellence while supporting continued business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic HR leader who is equally comfortable developing long-term initiatives and leading day-to-day execution across a complex, multi-location organization. Key Responsibilities Serve as the senior HR leader for the Americas region, partnering with executive leadership to develop and execute the regional people strategy. Provide leadership across all core HR functions, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, compliance, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement. Drive consistency in HR programs, processes, and governance across multiple locations and countries. Lead organizational change, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business objectives. Develop, mentor, and lead an experienced HR team while fostering collaboration across regional and global stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies while promoting best practices throughout the organization. Partner with business leaders to build high-performing teams, strengthen leadership capability, and support succession planning. Utilize data and HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness. Qualifications Significant progressive HR leadership experience supporting regional or international organizations. Experience within a technology services, engineering services, professional services, software, or similarly complex business environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership on strategic business and people initiatives. Experience leading HR operations across multiple locations and/or countries. Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and organizational development. Proven ability to lead change, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational performance. Strong business acumen with a hands-on, collaborative leadership style. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification is preferred. Why This Opportunity?
