Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing both standardized tests and observational methodologies.

Create individualized therapy strategies that focus on immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing improvements.

Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions addressing diverse aspects such as language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

Partner with a multidisciplinary team comprising physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to formulate cohesive care approaches.

Engage patients and their families in education efforts to foster progress beyond therapy sessions.

Participate in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed to ensure seamless care continuity.

Keep detailed, timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.

Commit to ongoing professional development, staying abreast with the latest advancements in the field through educational pursuits and collaborative learning opportunities.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Fulfillment of a structured Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.

Expertise in evidence-based treatment techniques across the lifespan, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional communication skills to engage patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams effectively.

Flexibility to adjust therapeutic techniques to accommodate varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation processes.
