Must-Haves:

• 2+ years of customer service, finance, accounting, AP, or support center experience
• General Workday navigation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Associate's degree required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and customer support skills
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly

Day-to-Day:

• Respond to Tier 1 inquiries from Yale employees and suppliers through Salesforce case management
• Support Supplier Gateway inquiries and supplier self-service requests
• Assist with Accounts Payable processes from invoice submission through payment
• Research and resolve transaction-related questions from departments and vendors
• Prepare and distribute AP checks and supporting documentation
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support teams based on defined business rules
• Gather and verify information from departments to support issue resolution
• Provide guidance on financial policies, procedures, and processes
• Search knowledge bases and provide accurate solutions to customers
• Collaborate with experienced FSC agents during onboarding and training
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced team environment

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking an AP Specialist  to support a leading higher education institution's Finance Support Center. This individual will join a collaborative team responsible for providing exceptional customer service and financial support to employees, departments, and suppliers. The role will focus heavily on responding to inquiries through Salesforce, supporting supplier onboarding and self-service functions, and assisting with Accounts Payable processes from invoicing through payment. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, exposure to Workday, and a strong interest in finance, accounting, or shared services operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise systems such as Workday and Salesforce while working in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment. This is a contract until end of year and pays $22-25/hr.
