Senior Transmission Engineer We currently seek a high-caliber Senior Transmission Engineer for a direct hire basis within our client’s team of experienced professionals. They provide services such as below-grade civil work, pipeline installation, directional boring, and battery energy storage system (BESS) installations. Known for being a self-performing contractor, our client emphasizes safety, quality, and integrity while maintaining tight engineering tolerances.Job Overview: Our client is continuing to grow and they are looking for an experienced Transmission Engineer to join our team. As a Transmission Engineer, your role is pivotal in the engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages. This is a hybrid position and there are several different locations throughout the US. Responsibilities:Responsible for the engineering and design of high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.Conducting detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.Provide field support during construction.Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.Performs work which involves conventional engineering practices, but may involve a variety of complex features.May coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation assignments.Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.Other duties as assigned.Education Requirements (min) BS in Engineering from ABET accredited program Experience 8-15 years of experience required within Transmission EngineeringPLS CADD requiredThe ideal candidate has a PE or is able to obtain it within the next 3 monthsTRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily here Transmission Engineer [id="18814f87-4a04-7173-8a04-65ea262b874c"]:not(.custom-styled) .banner-customhtml { background-size: cover; height: 744px; width: 100%; }
