Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical operations and patient care in a dynamic environment. The primary responsibilities include direct patient care, clinical support, laboratory services, and workflow coordination. The role aims to ensure efficient clinic operations and quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Patient Care: Rooms patients, captures vital signs, and documents medical history, allergies, and reasons for visit per nursing protocols.
• Clinical Support: Assists physicians with examinations and procedures while maintaining clear communication to ensure quality outcomes.
• Laboratory Services: Collects and prepares laboratory specimens for processing.
• Workflow Coordination: Monitors physician schedules and organizes patient flow to ensure timely visits.
• Daily Oversight: Serves as the primary point of contact for clinic operations, resolving immediate issues or escalating them to leadership.
• Staff Supervision: Leads front-line staff and delegates duties to ensure adherence to regulatory, billing, and customer service standards.
• Quality Assurance: Audits ordered tests for timely results and implements best practices in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Training & Compliance: Conducts staff training, reviews care protocols, and enforces strict infection prevention guidelines.
• Resource Management: Monitors medical supplies and equipment functionality, reporting maintenance needs as required.
• Strategic Alignment: Acts as an accountable steward of the organizational mission, core values, and departmental goals.
• General Support: Performs other duties as assigned to support relationship-based care and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• MA Diploma
• BLS

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a relevant field

Skills

• MA Certification Preferred
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Background Preferred

Additional Requirements

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 4x10s from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
