What You'll Do:
  • Provide inpatient rehabilitation care on acute care units focusing on injury, stroke, ortho, and general rehab patients
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and daily rounds
  • Perform bread-and-butter PM&R procedures such as joint injections and spasticity management (Botox, intrathecal baclofen pumps)
  • Collaborate with internal and specialty services (neurology, orthopedics, pain, internal medicine) for comprehensive patient care
  • Cover approximately 13–15 patients per day, including occasional weekend and night call requirements
  • Respond to fluctuating call volume, with night call duties after regular shifts
What You Need:
  • CA Medical License and CA DEA registration
  • Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (BC only)
  • Valid AHA BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years inpatient PM&R experience
  • Ability to perform common PM&R procedures independently
About the Assignment:

Join a dynamic inpatient rehab unit dedicated to delivering high-quality recovery services. Your role will involve managing a diverse patient population, performing essential procedures, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The facility seeks a motivated provider committed to excellence in patient care, starting in late June 2026. Credentialing takes approximately 45 days; urgent temporary credentials will be pursued to facilitate an earlier start if needed.
