Landscape Account Manager

Position Summary

The Landscape Account Manager develops and maintains long-term client relationships, supports client retention, and identifies landscape enhancement opportunities. This role partners with operations to deliver responsive, high-quality service while contributing to business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients; provide knowledgeable guidance on landscape maintenance and enhancement opportunities.
• Conduct regular site visits, often with clients, to identify improvement opportunities and recommend horticulturally appropriate enhancements.
• Partner with the Production Manager to address customer concerns, service deficiencies, and operational issues promptly.
• Identify, propose, and sell enhancement services; coordinate with other divisions to support successful completion within budgeted hours.
• Use company software, including LMN, to create work tickets, estimates, and manage client accounts.
• Identify and present new business opportunities to the Operations Manager.
• Stay informed on industry best practices and recommend service offerings that meet changing client needs.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and the company, maintaining timely communication and supporting collections as needed.
• Develop strategic partnerships and represent GSL with honesty, professionalism, and respect for its brand and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, sales, or a comparable client-facing role within landscaping or a related industry.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and enhancement opportunities.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with CRM or project-management software; LMN experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation

Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. A company vehicle, maintenance, gas, equipment, and tools are provided.
