Radiology - CT Tech

CT Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

4/10 hour shifts - no overnights, every other weekend.

The CT Technologist will serve as the primary liaison between patients, radiologists, and other members of the support team, demonstrating a thorough understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The technologist is expected to maintain a high degree of accuracy in both positioning and exposure techniques while using professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures with a focus on patient care and safety.
• Position patients accurately for procedures and ensure proper exposure techniques.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort.
• Collaborate with radiologists and support staff to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment in all aspects of the role.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current California Certified Radiological Technologist License (CRT)
• Current Peripheral Vascular Access certification
• Current BLS Certificate
• Demonstrated understanding of radiology principles and patient care protocols.
