Working under the direction of the Director of Event Management, this role owns selected events end‑to‑end and supports larger programs. The Events Specialist partners with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Training and Leadership) to understand objectives, target audiences, and key messages, and translates these into clear event concepts, detailed plans, and smooth on‑site execution. The role coordinates venues, vendors, logistics, registration, and attendee communications to ensure every event is professionally executed, on brand, and within budget. This position is anchored in our North American HQ for Hearing, and works in a Hybrid fashion out of our current location in Shakopee MN. If you thrive in a high‑pace, dynamic, and collaborative environment and are driven by the pursuit of excellence centered around our customers then you may be a good fit for the team and we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities Planning & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and leadership to clarify event objectives, target audiences and key messages, and translate them into effective event concepts and experiences. Lead on‑site execution, including set‑up, vendor and internal team coordination, live show calling/run‑of‑show management, troubleshooting and tear down, acting as the primary on‑site decision‑maker for assigned events. Budget Management: Manage event budgets within approved thresholds, tracking costs, and identifying opportunities for savings or optimization without compromising experience or quality. Provide input to the Director of Events on budget planning, vendor performance and opportunities for framework agreements or process improvements. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, leadership and external partners on assigned events, providing clear, timely updates and managing expectations throughout the event lifecycle. Coordinate and align cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Training and others) to deliver cohesive, customer‑centric event experiences that support commercial and brand objectives. Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to develop and execute event promotion plans, including email campaigns, social media, invitations and supporting collateral. Measurement, Continuous Improvement & Team Contribution: Conduct post‑event evaluations and recommend concrete improvements for future events. Identify and implement enhancements to event processes, tools and templates to drive efficiency, consistency and quality across the events portfolio. Share best practices, tools and lessons learned with the broader events team. Qualifications Competencies (Knowledge and Skills): Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
