Job Description
Job Posting: Manual Machinist — Techwood Precision (Macon, GA)
Pay Range: $23–$30/hr depending on experience Experience Required: 8+ years in manual machining
Techwood Precision is not interested in average machinists. We’re not looking for someone who “gets by,” someone who needs babysitting, or someone who thinks manual machining is a dying skill. We want the machinists who still take pride in craftsmanship, who know how to make a machine sing, and who understand that precision is earned—not guessed.
If you’re tired of shops that don’t respect real machinists, tired of leadership that doesn’t listen, tired of chaos, confusion, and disorganization—this is your chance to join a company that actually runs the right way.
Techwood Precision operates on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) . That means clarity, accountability, structure, and a team that actually works together. You won’t be stuck in a shop where nobody knows what’s going on. You’ll be part of a company that is building something bigger—something designed to last.
And you won’t just be a machinist here. You’ll be part of shaping the future of the trade for the next generation of machinists .
If that doesn’t excite you, this isn’t your shop. If it does, keep reading.
Position Overview
You will take full ownership of machining high‐precision components using manual mills and lathes. We expect mastery, not mediocrity. You’ll work on challenging parts, tight tolerances, and jobs that require real skill—not repetitive production work.
You’ll also participate in EOS meetings, help identify issues, propose solutions, and contribute to building a stronger, smarter, more efficient company. Your voice will matter here.
This is a role for someone who wants to leave a mark—not just punch a clock.
