Quotation Specialist I

Role Overview: The Quotation Specialist I supports the Sales and Sales Engineering teams by preparing accurate and timely quotations for standard and low-complexity opportunities. This role focuses on pricing execution, vendor coordination, and quote documentation while developing foundational technical and commercial skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare quotes for standard and low-complexity opportunities using established pricing tools and templates
• Review RFQs, specifications, and BOMs for completeness and accuracy
• Issue RFQs to vendors and compile pricing, lead time, and availability inputs
• Coordinate internally with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to support quote development
• Maintain accurate quote documentation, pricing records, and revision history
• Support Sales Engineers with complete, well-organized quote packages
• Escalate pricing or scope questions outside defined guidelines for review

Required Qualifications:

• 12 years of experience in quoting, estimating, sales operations, or manufacturing support roles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working in ERP, CPQ, or CRM systems
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred: Manufacturing, industrial, or engineering-related background (not required)

Decision Authority: Works within defined pricing guidelines and approval thresholds. No independent pricing authority.
Career Progression: Prepares the individual for progression into Quotation Specialist II.

CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $70,304 $85,000 per year.
