Pain Medicine - Physician

PM&R / Interventional Pain Physician — Outpatient Only, No Nights or Weekends — Midtown Manhattan, NY

Precision Care Spine & Pain Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Medicine physician to join our established, physician-led outpatient practice at our Midtown Manhattan office. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity with no hospital call, no nights, and no weekends — a genuinely sustainable schedule paired with a high-volume, procedure-rich practice and a fully equipped in-office procedural suite.

Perform the complete range of image-guided procedures with on-site fluoroscopy, RFA generator, and ultrasound — including epidural steroid injections, facet and medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation trials, peripheral joint injections (corticosteroid, viscosupplementation, PRP), and regenerative options. 
• True multidisciplinary support. Work alongside in-house physical therapy and rehabilitation teams, with an emphasis on corrective exercise, evidence-based interventional care, and non-opioid pain management to optimize patient outcomes.
• Strong, steady patient demand. An established referral base and a dense, diverse New York City patient population

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluation and management of musculoskeletal and spine conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT)
• Perform EMG/NCV studies
• Perform the full range of fluoroscopically guided and ultrasound-guided interventional pain procedures
• Prescribe and coordinate PT/OT and other conservative therapies
• Collaborate with physical therapists and rehabilitation specialists to optimize outcomes
• Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR

Precision Care Spine & Pain Center is a private, outpatient spine and pain practice with multiple locations across the boroughs of New York City. This role is based at our Midtown Manhattan office. We focus on comprehensive, evidence-based, minimally invasive care — combining interventional expertise with a multidisciplinary approach to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and avoid unnecessary surgery. Our multi-site footprint gives physicians strong cross-referral support, shared resources, and room to grow, and we invest in current technology and a well-run clinical environment so our physicians can focus on patients.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible; Pain Medicine certification preferred
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Proficiency across the full range of fluoroscopically and ultrasound-guided interventional pain procedures
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and treatment-planning skills
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
• Comfortable working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
