RN Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) – Post Partum – PRN We are seeking a registered nurse to provide post‑partum care on a PRN basis at North Alabama Medical Center. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Qualifications Current state RN license. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred. ASLS certification preferred.
