Manufacturing Support Lead

Manufacturing Support Lead Location: San Diego, CA Pay Rate: $26.75 - $40.75 per hour Schedule: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Join our team where your work matters and contributions are truly appreciated. Responsibilities: Lead daily operations within manufacturing support and set‑up areas to meet production, quality, and efficiency goals Monitor workflow, productivity, and performance metrics and make adjustments as needed Train, coach, and support team members to enhance skills and performance Collect, analyze, and track production data for reporting and continuous improvement initiatives Develop and maintain standard work procedures and day‑by‑hour tracking systems Lead High-Performance Team (HPT) meetings and continuous improvement projects Collaborate with other departments to resolve production, quality, and operational issues Address employee concerns, manage low‑level conflicts, and support accountability initiatives Support ISO compliance, quality programs, and internal and external audits Perform hands‑on production and operational support as needed Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment Escalate production, safety, and operational concerns to leadership as necessary Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; college degree or certifications preferred Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience with SharePoint and manufacturing systems preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution abilities Ability to analyze production data and drive process improvements Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong understanding of quality standards, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment Must be eligible to work in compliance with ITAR and EAR requirements Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical duties including standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift Benefits: A competitive package will be disclosed during the screening process or upon hire.
