Software Test Engineer

To support a government modernization initiative, the full-time Software Test Engineer will perform hands-on testing of enterprise applications built using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure Government, ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing in a collaborative Agile environment. Key responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts while performing functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and assist with release readiness and deployment validation activities Support UAT activities and prepare test scenarios that reflect real-world operational workflows, ensuring application readiness prior to production releases Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field Minimum 3 years of software testing or quality assurance experience supporting enterprise applications Experience developing and executing functional test cases, integration tests, regression tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Experience with Agile software development environments and using defect and test management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira Strong analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams Virtual Vocations Inc
