Account Executive
The Account Executive will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Verisk Life Solutions. This role is responsible for selling the FAST platform and its full suite of modular components across the end-to-end life and annuity lifecycle for both individual and group markets—from product design, distribution, digital buying, new business and underwriting through policy administration, servicing, claims, analytics, workflow, portals, document management, and related capabilities. The Account Executive will build trusted executive relationships, align solutions to carrier transformation priorities, and lead complex opportunities through the full enterprise sales lifecycle.
Responsibilities include identifying and prospecting new accounts, building trusted relationships with carrier executives and key stakeholders, managing and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline, leading consultative presentations and demonstrations of the FAST platform, providing accurate and timely sales forecasting and pipeline updates, collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, presenting proposals and solution recommendations to prospects and stakeholders, and monitoring contracting progress with internal legal resources.
Performance metrics include achievement of annual sales quota and closed won opportunities, and advancement of qualified opportunities to agreed-upon pipeline stages.
Qualifications include deep understanding of the individual and group life and annuity ecosystem, proven success selling enterprise SaaS, core insurance platforms, or complex insurance technology solutions to life and annuity carriers, excellent presentation, communication, and executive-level relationship skills, high drive and goal orientation, demonstrated integrity, and 10+ years of enterprise SaaS, insurance technology, or life and annuity platform sales experience.
