Admin Security Specialist

Admin Security Specialist Seeking Admin Security Specialist position in Huntsville, AL to perform access control, property control functions, and routine patrol. Pay Transparency/Compensation $24.17/hr. Responsibilities Maintainannual refresher briefing records. Review and approve pre/post foreign travel reports. Check visitors in and issueappropriate visitorbadges. Submit new hire packets for clearances. Maintain location and cost code metrics. Complete STEPP training for all security topics. Maintain Security Binders. Conduct bag inspections for the facilityin accordance withNISPOM regulations. Patrol the suite including SCIF to ensure secured. Maintain safety equipment. Manage the alarm system. Answering front desk calls. Subject to frequent interruption. Intermittent travel to gain access to work areas and buildings. While performing the duties of this job, you may visit locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces, and may be exposed to seasonal elements. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs. Qualifications Must be U.S. citizen. Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Must have a current Secret clearance. Experience with JPAS or DISS. Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check. Successfully pass an employment physical. Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check. Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms. Write and speak clearly and effectively in English. Be fully computer literate with computer hardware. Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses. 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience. Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite.
