Recreational Therapist – SSM Health Day Institute (Neuro Rehab) Location: Warrenton, MO Employment Type: Full-Time Seniority Level: Entry Level Pay Range: $19.00/hr – $29.73/hr Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Day Shift) Position Overview SSM Health Physical Therapy Rehab Network in the Greater St. Louis Area, including locations in Illinois (IL), is growing and has immediate openings for a Full‑Time Activity/Recreational Therapist (RT) to plan, direct, and coordinate recreational-based treatment programs for patients in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation. Responsibilities Plan and implement appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with guidelines set by the organization, hospital and the profession. Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload. Ensure all patients are oriented to recreation therapy and provide hospital‑wide leisure, social and divergent programs. Serve as an educator to patients on community resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required. Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required. Why Join Us?
