Job Title: Registered Nurse – Recovery Room (PACU) - Travel
Location: Falmouth, MA
Type: Contract | 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:
Rotating Day Shifts
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
40 Hours Per Week (5 Days/Week)
On-Call Required
Float Required – Ambulatory Care Unit (PACU / Pre-op / Post-op)

Pay Rate: $68 - $78/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Recovery Room (PACU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

• Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.

• Administer medications and evaluate patient responses.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care and discharge planning.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Ensure airway management and patient safety during the recovery phase.

• Serve as a charge nurse or resource nurse when required.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

• Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Active Massachusetts RN License.

• BLS certification.

• ACLS certification.

• PALS certification.

• Successful completion of a pharmacology exam.

• Basic arrhythmia competency.

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU, ER, CVICU, CVPA, SDC, or PACU experience.

• Strong IV insertion, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator care skills.

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
