Respiratory Care Practitioner, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RCP/RRT)

Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested Deliver compassionate care to chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care Requirements Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in performing cardiopulmonary procedures and maintaining respiratory care equipment, while providing compassionate care to critically ill patients. Holds necessary certifications and licensure to ensure compliance and quality in respiratory therapy.
