Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provide expert nursing care to patients in a 36-bed telemetry unit, ensuring high-quality clinical practices within a fast-paced, trauma and stroke-certified environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care and maintain compliance with unit standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions thoroughly, utilizing advanced assessment skills and critical thinking.
• Manage vasoactive drips and other IV therapies with precision.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocol.
• Document all patient interactions, interventions, and responses accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with team members and unit secretaries to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and communicate effectively during bedside shift reports and leadership rounds.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate advanced assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to manage vasoactive drips and other complex medication protocols.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, trauma, and stroke-centered environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating holidays.
