Advanced Crisis Intervention Therapist

This role involves delivering timely, quality assessments and interventions aimed at symptom reduction, stabilization, and restoring clients to their previous level of functioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement crisis plans and conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including mental status exams.
• Deliver short-term crisis interventions such as resolution and debriefing.
• Coordinate care with families, significant others, and community systems like education and child welfare.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Experience

• Preferred 3-5 years working with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), or seriously emotionally disturbed (SED) populations.
• Experience integrating care with other providers and supervising clinicians pursuing licensure.
• Proven ability to work with diverse and high-risk populations.

Licensure and Certifications

• Licensed at the Master's level by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB).
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) training completed.
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle required.
• Substance Use Disorder licensure and clinical-level BSRB licensure are preferred.
