As an MRI Technologist, you'll play a key role in providing precise and accurate imaging for our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared-for during their procedures. What You'll Do:
- Perform high-quality MRI exams in accordance with established protocols and physician orders, ensuring accurate and timely image acquisition.
- Prepare patients and equipment by positioning patients, using immobilization devices appropriately, adjusting equipment controls, and selecting correct imaging parameters.
- Maintain imaging quality and workflow efficiency , meeting departmental standards for productivity, accuracy, and patient care.
- Ensure patient safety by following MRI safety protocols, screening all individuals entering the MRI environment, and adhering to infection control and radiation safety policies.
- Provide patient-centered care , explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Document procedures accurately within electronic medical records and PACS systems, ensuring timely and complete image transmission and interpretation readiness.
- Assist in sterile and invasive procedures , using proper sterile techniques and maintaining strict hand hygiene standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment , reporting issues promptly and collaborating with biomedical engineers and physicists to optimize performance.
- Support inventory control , restocking and managing supplies to maintain efficient operation of the imaging suite.
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate from an ARRT approved program
- Clinical experience is preferred

- American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Pathway 2:
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imagining Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Pathway 3:
- Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) license in Texas
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T(R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, within 90 days of hire
- Current, Valid Texas driver's license
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach.
