Job Summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional dialysis care in a patient-focused environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering safe and effective in-center, acute, and peritoneal dialysis treatments while monitoring patient responses and ensuring the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis patient assessments.
• Deliver and monitor in-center, acute, and peritoneal dialysis treatments.
• Operate and monitor hemodialysis machines and adjust treatment parameters as needed.
• Access and manage fistulas and shunts while maintaining vascular access integrity.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient condition throughout treatment and respond to complications appropriately.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 6 months of Hemodialysis experience (Required).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification .
• Current ACLS Certification .
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred .
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Holiday coverage may be required if the dialysis unit is operating.
