Veta Virtual is hiring a Treasury Analyst for one of our high growth clients in the fintech and cryptocurrency industry. This is not a basic reporting role. This is a high responsibility treasury position for someone who can manage global banking relationships, liquidity, and risk with precision, and who is comfortable working directly with a treasury manager or corporate treasurer to keep every account accurate and every forecast reliable.

  Your Role:

As a Treasury Analyst , you will report directly to the Treasury Manager and support the full scope of global treasury operations for a fintech and cryptocurrency platform with thousands of kiosks operating across multiple countries. You will be responsible for daily cash positioning, bank reconciliation, liquidity management, cash forecasting, and ensuring full compliance with international accounting standards. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Preparing daily cash positioning within the treasury management system to support global liquidity management.
• Monitoring and reconciling cash related accounts, including bank accounts, cash in kiosks, and cash in transit, and analyzing this data for KPI reporting.
• Reconciling all bank accounts to make sure banking transactions are accurate and consistent with the books, and eliminating variances.
• Providing reconciliation reports to the accounting team to support the month close process
• Overseeing the sourcing, management, and administration of bank relationships and bank accounts for domestic and international operations, and liaising with banks for statements, reports, and updates on cash position.
• Monitoring fund disbursements to make sure all income and expenditure is recorded in line with internal procedures and international accounting standards.
• Keeping accurate financial and treasury records for every transaction.
• Preparing ad hoc management reports on budget utilization and variances, explaining deviations, and proposing preliminary recommendations for management review.
• Overseeing administrative matters related to the code of conduct for financial activities, and reporting and investigating any unusual activity or transactions.
• Supporting management in the financial decision making process.
• Coordinating and maintaining daily, thirteen week, and twenty six week cash forecasting to make sure adequate funds are available to meet program needs.
• Reviewing budget proposals from other functions for technical errors or issues.
• Providing analysis, detail, and explanations on the status of the company's accounts.

✅  What You'll Need:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis on accounting and finance.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• A CPA or Certified Management Accountant credential is preferable.
• Experience developing financial models.
• Familiarity with Access or another database software application.
• Technical awareness of accounting and treasury management systems and other business software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay self motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once without losing focus.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to meet and beat project deadlines.
• Comfort and proficiency using AI tools to support forecasting, reporting, and daily productivity is a strong plus.
• Excellent Excel skills, including advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and INDEX MATCH, pivot tables for reporting and variance analysis, and the ability to build and maintain rolling cash forecasts, reconciliation trackers, and financial models from scratch, ideally with some comfort in macros or Power Query for repeatable reporting.
• Bonus: basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
• To be considered for this role, you must currently be based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
