Geriatrics Fellowship Program Coordinator

Under general supervision of the Dean of Graduate Medical Education and the direction of the faculty Program Director, the candidate will:

• Administer the Geriatrics Fellowship Program using resources and systems to assure an effective and compliant educational experience for fellows.
• Act as liaison with other School of Medicine and Medical Center Departments and national accreditation organizations (ACGME/RRC).
• Manage fellows, external department rotations, and elective rotations.
• Facilitate annual recruitment process for applicants using web-based Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), and all fellow personnel and payroll actions.
• Participate in the development and planning of curriculum for fellow education.
• Implement all components of web-based New Innovations, a contracted GME Residency Management System that includes schedules, evaluations, duty hours, and other management modules.
• Act on behalf of the Program Director as needed.
• In addition, the position will provide assistance for evaluations and reporting for all fellowship programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Experience with office equipment and software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom along with the ability to quickly learn new technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents/fellows, faculty, and staff.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Advertised Salary: $21.00 to $22.00 depending on qualifications/experience plus state benefits package
