Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract role supporting students' communication needs in a local educational setting near Cary, NC. This on-site position spans from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, offering part-time hours—up to 20 per week—within a collaborative environment. The grade levels, assigned campuses, and caseload details will be shared during the hiring process, ensuring your expertise is best matched to student needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active certification as SLP-CCC (no CFY candidates, please)
• Hold a valid professional license and current educator certificate
• Minimum of one year prior school-based SLP experience
• Ability to obtain an NPI number and register with NC Tracks prior to the start date
• Completion of DCDEE fingerprinting required
• Comfort working exclusively on-site within a school community

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled speech-language pathology services to assigned student caseloads, assisting with communication, language, and related disorders
• Complete evaluations, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
• Communicate progress and recommendations effectively with teachers, caregivers, and other school staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Stay up-to-date on best practices, school policies, and regulatory requirements
