Packaging Associate

Essential Job Functions Repackages items from bulk to customer specific packaging, including poly bag, specific labels, inner outer boxes etc. Operates any necessary machines for repackaging - Spring-Poly Bag Machine Makes necessary, minor, adjustments to repackaging machines Other Responsibilities Operates Hi-Lo to move product, as necessary Preforms quality checks of packaged products Verifies raw materials match work instructions Assists team with all other aspects of receiving, pulling & labeling, as needed Performs other duties as requested by supervisor Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Knowledge/ Experience Familiarity with MRP/ ERP systems. i.e. SAP, AX 2009 SPC and ISO/TS understanding Power Lockout Certification Demonstrated ability to effectively use scale Hi-Lo Drivers Certificate Demonstrated commitment to meet all safety requirements Ability to operate Spring-Poly Bag Machine Numerical and counting capabilities High School Diploma is preferred 1+ years of related experience Skills/ Abilities Pertinent to This Position Problem-solving Verbal communication Relationship management Process improvement Ability to interact at all levels Ability to work as a team member PHYSICAL DEMANDS In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
