As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Clearance in Humble, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.84 / Hour

DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures for access control at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and document visitor activity in accordance with post orders and facility protocols.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for conditions that may require reporting or further security-related attention.
• Support emergency response activities by helping to control access, direct foot traffic, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
