Health Solutions Architect, Senior Manager
The Opportunity:

Serve as a senior Solution Architect who blends technical leadership with hands-on engineering across AI, software, cloud, and data systems. Shape advanced technical solutions that address complex mission and business challenges, emphasizing AI-enabled design, development, and operations. Collaborate closely with program, engineering, and business development teams to turn architectural concepts into prototypes, demonstrations, reusable patterns, and implementable solutions. Lead technical solutioning for captures and proposals while helping teams adopt AI-assisted engineering in daily workflows. Own cross-domain solution architecture spanning AI, software, cloud, integration, and data to ensure alignment with mission and business needs. Assess current applications and environments to define target architectures and transition paths using modern patterns, platforms, and incremental transformation techniques. Coach engineers and architects through complex challenges and guide adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

• Experience architecting AI-enabled solutions using generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic workflows
• Experience developing technical solutions for customer-facing, business development, capture, or proposal efforts, including prototypes, demonstrations, proofs of concept, or reference implementations to validate architectures and communicate solution concepts
• Experience using AI-assisted software engineering tools such as Claude Code, coding agents, or code-analysis tools to develop prototypes, analyze existing systems, or accelerate engineering activities
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with solution architecture, software engineering, cloud architecture, or data architecture, including architecting and implementing integrated solutions across software applications, cloud services, data platforms, and APIs in AWS environments, or 12+ years of experience with solution architecture, software engineering, cloud architecture, or data architecture, including architecting and implementing integrated solutions across software applications, cloud services, data platforms, and APIs in AWS environments, in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience implementing generative AI or agentic AI solutions involving model and tool integration, evaluation, governance, or responsible AI practices
• Experience developing production software using Python, SQL, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, containers, or cloud-native services
• Experience assessing legacy applications and defining incremental transformation and transition strategies
• Experience with Databricks, including lakehouse architectures, data engineering, analytics, machine learning, or AI workloads
• Ability to translate complex business problems into practical technical solutions and communicate architecture decisions to executives, customers, developers, and other stakeholders
• Architecture, Databricks, Machine Learning, or Solution Architecture AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Certification

• Cloud Architecture, Generative AI or AI Engineering, Machine Learning, or Data and AI Platform Architecture AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
