What You'll Do

• Provide high-acuity patient care in a busy SICU environment, including post-op CABG, valve surgeries, and aortic dissection cases
• Monitor critically ill patients, including transplant recovery (liver, heart, lung, kidney, pancreas)
• Manage patients requiring advanced therapies such as IABP, PA catheters, and balloon pump support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR system
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and participate in "Emergency Team" activities if required
• Support float requirements to other ICUs and SDUs as needed

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or state of residence
• ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, ideally in a cardiac or surgical ICU setting
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Skills in managing PA catheters, balloon pumps, and renal replacement therapy
