Responsibilities Provide medication administration, monitoring, and documentation for patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff Assist with vital sign checks, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate Perform basic wound care, including dressing changes and baths Assist with mobility and transfers, including standing, sitting, and walking Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and medication administration Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members Requirements Current certification as a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Texas High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions Compassion, empathy, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care Why Join Us At Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation, we are dedicated to providing the best care for our patients.
