Aerospace And Defense Sales EngineerYou will work closely with the Aerospace and Defense business to develop and execute sales strategies, provide technical expertise, and cultivate strong customer relationships.You will report directly to Sales Director for Aerospace.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the growth and profitability of our organization by identifying new business opportunities, driving growth in the assigned market, and delivering customer-centric solutions.Other US locations considered.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of advanced application and system solutions with key Aerospace and Defense customers.Develop and execute technical sales strategies to achieve business objectives.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.Identify new business opportunities and drive growth in the assigned market.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.Overseeing a portfolio of advanced applications and system solutions tailored to the customer's needs.Collaborating with the SAM to formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving business objectives with the supported customers, thereby directly contributing to revenue growth.Identify and develop strong relationships with engineers and key technical partners for new project opportunities which are essential for long-term business success.Proactively identifying new business opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense markets, along with the technical capability to drive growth.Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that enhance client satisfaction.Provide daily technical support and problem resolution with your sales partners.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE5+ years of experience in sales engineering roles, with a focus on advanced applications and systems.Technical background in advanced application and systems engineering.Technical background in sensing sales.Aerospace and Defense experience.WE VALUEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Can influence at varying levels across the organization.Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.Track record of exceeding financial targets.Effectively getting results in a matrixed organization structure.Clear communication and vision-setting skills.Professional presence and communication skills to interact with customers at all levels of the organization.Developing and fostering strong customer relationships.Strategic mindset to scope tasks and achieve goals.Timely decision-making in the face of complexity and ambiguity.Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.Ensuring customer satisfaction quality, reliability, from a technical perspective).Classified Clearance.Other languages valued.This position is Incentive Plan Eligible.The annual base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $146,500. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
