Join Our Team as a Hematology/Oncology Physician in Federal Way, WA!

Summary:
Our facility is in search of a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum position set in a well-established hospital environment in Federal Way, Washington. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide outpatient care in a supportive clinic setting, working alongside a skilled team of healthcare professionals. The position is expected to last up to 4 months, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Come play a vital role in a community-focused environment that emphasizes quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care in a hospital-based outpatient clinic.
• Manage approximately 15-18 patients per day.
• Handle cases with a focus on 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology.
• Work collaboratively with care management staff, including RN, MA, and infusion nurses.
• No inpatient responsibilities and no call duties.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology is highly preferred; Board Eligible will be considered.
• Completion of a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology is required.
• Active Washington state medical license is highly preferred; IMLC is acceptable.
• Current DEA certification is required.
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation is mandatory.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification BC in Hematology & Oncology Highly Preferred .
• Active Washington License or IMLC Required .
• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology Required .
• DEA Required .
