Position Summary:

The Production Worker / Installer is responsible for supporting both the manufacturing and installation of custom sports facility products, including windscreens, netting systems, wall padding, field padding, protective screens, divider curtains, athletic equipment, and related products.

This position requires work in both a manufacturing environment and at customer locations throughout California and, when necessary, other states. The employee may rotate between production and installation assignments based on operational needs.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, customer-service oriented, and capable of performing physical labor in indoor and outdoor environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Production Responsibilities:

· Fabricate and assemble custom sports facility products according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.

· Measure, stretch, cut, sew, weld, assemble, and prepare materials for production.

· Safely operate equipment including sewing machines, grommet machines, hot knives, cutting tools, measuring devices, and related production equipment.

· Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.

· Retrieve materials from inventory and return unused materials to designated storage locations.

· Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

· Follow Company safety procedures and Cal/OSHA requirements.

· Assist other departments as necessary to support production goals.

Installation Responsibilities

· Travel to customer locations to install sports facility products including windscreens, netting systems, wall padding, protective screens, divider curtains, and related athletic facility equipment.

· Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.

· Read and interpret installation drawings, layouts, work orders, and project specifications.

· Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as authorized and trained.

· Measure, align, secure, and install products according to Company standards and customer requirements.

· Assist with site preparation, project setup, material staging, and cleanup activities.

· Maintain professional conduct while interacting with customers, contractors, facility personnel, and the public.

· Report jobsite hazards, project concerns, material shortages, equipment issues, and delays to management promptly.

· Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and safety standards.

· Assist in troubleshooting and resolving installation-related issues.

Required Qualifications

· Ability to read and understand work orders, installation instructions, safety procedures, and basic drawings.

· Minimum one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, construction, installation, or a related trade.

· Ability to safely operate hand tools and basic power tools.

· Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

· Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.

· Basic math and measurement skills.

· Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

· Reliable attendance and punctuality.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to travel overnight and work at remote job locations as business needs require.

· Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

· Must be insurable under the Company's commercial automobile insurance policy.

· Must successfully pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience installing sports facility equipment, netting systems, wall padding, fencing, or related products.

· Experience operating aerial lifts, scissor lifts, or boom lifts.

· Bilingual English/Spanish.
