Associate Attorney

WSHB is looking for attorneys to fill positions in its growing Petaluma office. Whether recently licensed or several years into your career, the Petaluma office of WSHB is looking for professionals who would thrive in a friendly, collaborative environment dedicated to the ethical and enjoyable practice of law. Our office focuses on civil defense litigation in a wide variety of practice areas, including personal injury, intellectual property, commercial litigation, and more. We also have a large appellate practice, which touches on any number of additional practice areas. Attorneys are welcome to work from home as much or as little as they like, subject to certain limited exceptions when necessary to further the interests of clients or to provide in person training and support. Candidates must have a California law license and have at least two years of civil litigation experience. Reasonable proximity to the Petaluma office is preferred, but candidates in the greater Bay Area are welcome to apply if coming into the Petaluma office on occasion would be reasonably doable. As the ‘go to’ litigation firm for dozens of domestic and international insurance carriers, as well as many large private clients, WSHB attorneys handle a wide-spectrum of matters. On a daily basis, associates work closely with lead attorneys on all phases of litigation, from rapid response investigations following catastrophic losses, case evaluation and reporting, discovery and depositions, through trial presentation, with an emphasis on strategic thinking to meet client objectives.
