Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU-level patients according to the nursing process and established standards of care.
• Monitor patient status, perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and therapies, and interpret diagnostic results.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans, transitions, and discharge planning.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to quality and documentation standards; utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical decisions.

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Availability for night shifts with 12-hour schedule (3 nights per week)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and participate in a travel assignment
