Work Environment
You will work in a clean room and laboratory environment that emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to strict quality standards. The role requires wearing appropriate clean room attire such as a lab coat, hair net, and other protective garments as needed. You will use precision measurement tools, visual inspection equipment, and microscopes in a controlled setting designed to support high-quality manufacturing and inspection processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.

Job Description
This role focuses on performing precise quality control inspections for highly regulated products, ensuring they meet strict industry and customer standards. You will use measurement tools, follow quality procedures, and document inspection results while working in a clean, controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality control and final inspections on products to ensure they meet all specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings to understand product requirements and inspection criteria.
- Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct visual inspections, including using magnification and microscopes where needed, to identify defects or nonconformances.
- Follow established quality control, quality assurance, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures during all inspection activities.
- Document inspection results accurately and completely, including measurements, observations, and any identified issues.
- Support quality assurance and quality check activities by escalating nonconforming findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection equipment as required, once trained.
- Perform inspections in a clean room and laboratory environment, adhering to all cleanliness and contamination control requirements.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to learn additional inspection tasks and processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance inspection methods and quality processes.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Quality Control (QC) Inspector or in a similar quality inspection role.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or quality inspection functions.
- Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for dimensional inspection.
- Experience performing visual inspections and visual quality checks.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard quality procedures.
- Ability to perform final inspection activities and accurately document results.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and nonconformances.
- Comfort working in a clean room or laboratory environment while following strict protocols.
- Experience in medical device or aerospace industries is preferred.
- Experience with QA inspection and final inspection in regulated environments.
- Experience with CMM (coordinate measuring machine) operation is beneficial.
- Laboratory or microscope inspection experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with microscopes and microscopic visual inspection techniques.
- Ability to work with visual inspection tools and microscopes for detailed quality checks.
