Using proven and sound statistical methods, the analyst draws insights from data, and translates those insights into action that drive business results. Data Analysts are extremely resourceful and able to find novel new data sources to enrich their analysis. They apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems.Mine, process, and summarize data; Manage the quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolutions; Analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences and prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards; Set up and maintain data processes and new analytics capabilities; Produce and track key performance indicators; Ability to formulate functional and technical requirements from business problems; Program management of key tasks and resources to achieve cost and schedule Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, AI/ML or related fieldProficiency in Python and foundational machine learning conceptsUnderstanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)Experience preparing, tracking, and reporting budgets of $2 M+; comfortable using financial tools (SAP, Oracle, Excel) to monitor cost performance.Ability to negotiate scope, timelines, and resources with stakeholders and customers.Desired SkillsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Industrial Distribution, Engineering, AI/ML or related fieldFamiliarity with Computer Vision (CV) models, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI(GenAI)Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.Familiarity with GenAI Coding AssistantsProven ability to deliver measurable efficiency or productivity improvements (e.g., reduced cycle time, increased throughput) through AI solutions.Experience with agentic AI frameworksknowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with data‑governance frameworks, metadata management, and data catalog tools.Experience with aircraft manufacturing processesStrong organization and communication skillsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
