The required degree must be completed by the start date.Experience:Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.Prior experience teaching Developmental Psychology: Adulthood is preferred.Experience applying or conducting research in Adult Developmental Psychology is preferredDuties/Expectations:Teach Psych 322: Developmental Psychology: AdulthoodHave the knowledge and ability to teach developmental processes from early adulthood through late life grounded in psychological science. Topics include physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development; major developmental theories; and factors influencing normative and atypical development across adulthood.Candidates should prepare students to evaluate research literature on adult development and aging and (preferably) have experience applying or conducting research in this area.Instruction should emphasize critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and real-world application.Our department values belonging, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research.This course will be taught as an in-person day class during Winter Semester 2027 .
