Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available; every other weekend required; must work 2 of 3 holidays

Highlights:

• Specialized 26-bed Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit providing telemetry-capable care for patients aged 65 and older
• 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio in a newly renovated unit focused on preserving cognitive and physical function
• Work alongside specially trained Geriatric Resource Nurses in a multidisciplinary team environment dedicated to geriatric excellence
• EPIC charting system with 1 year experience required; 13-week contract length with extension opportunities
• First-time travelers welcome; orientation provided every Monday with paid pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours)
• Regional Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 641 licensed beds and advanced specialty programs

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license (must be active prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, blood product administration, central/peripheral/PICC line management
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, remote telemetry monitoring, and heparin protocols
• Strong geriatric-focused care skills and patient ratio experience with up to 6 patients
• Charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccination not required
