Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop and implement cohesive care strategies.
• Provide extensive educational resources to patients and families to assist in their progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition through the continuum of care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by keeping up with the latest advancements in the speech-language pathology field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
