Position Overview Join a thriving team of skilled professionals as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . In this dynamic role, you will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform a range of diagnostic exams, all while working seamlessly alongside a team dedicated to excellence in patient care. Your expertise will provide patients and families reassurance through the accuracy and timeliness of each procedure. Description of Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring clear communication throughout every step of the imaging process
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver outstanding diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any issues efficiently
- Document imaging procedures meticulously and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical system
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Sonography preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient in advanced sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient interactions
- Able to function both independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
