See everything through the customer’s eyes and deliver an exceptional experience that is fun, fast and truly different.POSITION SUMMARY:The Lube Technician is an entry-level position responsible to inspect, recommend, and maintain vehicles to assure basic care, safety, reliability, and ownership experience is compliant with manufacturer (OEM) standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Nurture a culture of extraordinary customer and associate experiences.Execute consistent processes to assure favorable customer and associate experiences.Execute vehicle maintenance, LOF, MPI, TXM to specific standards.Directly interact with Team Leader and/or Service Sales Advisors.Maintain accurate paperwork, MPI, warranty documentation (CCC), flag time, clock time and notes.Continuous knowledge and professional skills education.Drive and park vehicles.Execute customer car washes.Maintain safety, clutter free, cleanliness of all workstations.Daily empty trash barrels.Daily remove all scrab and tires.Daily sweep and scrub shop floor in common areas.Weekly, degrease, clean, and maintain heavy equipment (tire machines, etc.)Report progress, challenges, options, and solutions to assure outstanding results.Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrate mechanical aptitudeBegin ASE certifications (8 total)COMPETENCIES, PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:Professionalism, respectful communication, and problem resolution skills are preferred.Positive attitude, hustle, curiosity, and education is preferred.Embrace of evolving technology utilization and customer service is preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:Extensive walking, bending, twisting, driving vehicles, lifting (<50 pounds)Fast pace, multi-tasking, attention to detailsEfficient use of software, technology, and data-entry.Seasonal weather challenges workflow.POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:Hours may vary daily to meet business demands.Typical schedules run 8 to 10 hours five or six days a week.Schedule flexibility is helpfulCOMPENSATION, BENEFITS AND REWARDS:This position is compensated by hourly rate and bonuses.Benefits are outlined in the handbook.Compensation is detailed in a separate document.TRAVEL:Must be able to travel as required.
