Job Description Job Description JOB POSTING: Facilities Maintenance Technician Location: Cleveland, Ohio Position Type: Full-Time Shifts: Mornings, On Call Role Overview FLEX Spas Cleveland is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of our facility through proactive maintenance and professional discretion. We are looking for an individual who can maintain a premium guest experience while working effectively in our unique social environment. Key Responsibilities Specialized Systems: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on commercial-grade steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools, and water filtration systems. Plumbing & HVAC: Monitor and repair leaks, clogs, and water temperature regulators; maintain HVAC systems for proper ventilation. General Upkeep: Execute minor electrical repairs, carpentry, painting, and tiling. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct daily walk-throughs to resolve potential safety hazards or equipment failures before they impact guests. Vendor Coordination: Assist in supervising external contractors for major structural or specialized technical projects. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, or related trade. Discretion: Ability to work effectively and professionally. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in high-temperature/high-humidity areas such as saunas and steam rooms. Safety Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying hazards and maintaining a high-end environment. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: CPO (Certified Pool Operator) or HVAC Certification is highly preferred but not required. Trade Skills: Specific experience with commercial-grade water systems or high-humidity ventilation is a major plus. What We Offer Pay: To be discussed.
