Senior Field Service Technician

Senior Field Service TechnicianXylem is looking for a Senior Field Service technician to report to our Arlington, TX facility and service our customers in the surrounding areas.The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.Core Responsibilities and TasksCreates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organizationTakes care of company propertyProactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditionsAnticipates and corrects safety issues – both company and customer owned equipmentDirect interfacing with customersMay be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customersProvides coachingPosition Requirements:HS diploma or equivalentIndustry specific licenses preferredAbility to obtain TWIC cardAbility to coach and train entry-level technicians2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experienceExperience with Microsoft office including smart devicesMust have customer service experienceDemonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting abilityAble to operate company service vehicle safelyAble to pass background check & pre-employment drug screenAdditional Details:Must be able to function in a team environmentUsually works with minimal supervisorWorks independentlyTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 25% or lessThe estimated salary range for this position is $27 to $33 an hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
