Position Overview:

Optigy is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join a well-supported, low-volume emergency department in a critical access hospital in Central Texas. With a welcoming team, streamlined transfer options, and the flexibility of 12- or 24-hour shifts, this opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking a balanced lifestyle and meaningful community-based practice just outside of Austin and San Antonio.

Emergency Department:

• ED Volume: 10,000 annual visits

• ED Beds: 5

• Daily Volume: ~30 patients/day

• Staffing Model: 12- or 24-hour single-coverage shifts (physician-only)

• Support: 2 nurses per shift

• Trauma Level: IV

• EMR: Cerner

• Qualifications:

o ABEM or board certification in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

• $165/hr (W2)

• $205/hr (1099)

• Sign-On Bonus: $60,000

• CME/BEA: Annual allowance

• Licensing & Credentialing Support Included

• Employment Models: W-2 and 1099 available
